Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash & properly controlled while on the property, in the waiting area or exam rooms.  All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.  If you forget your leash or carrier please ask us for one. Four Loving Paws Veterinary Services is not responsible for accidents or injuries inside or outside the facility due to unrestrained or uncontrolled pets.

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate by appointments. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority. We do see emergencies when possible after hours and Dr. Shepherd's pager number is on our office voicemail.

NO SHOW appointments (updated 29 May 2015)

Due to overwhelming demand, the appointments we have available are very important and highly sought. When appointments are made, we expect them to be kept. Appointment reminders are confirmed through text messaging, email, and/or phone the day prior to the appointment. When clients do not show it adversely affects those ill and injured pets who desperately needs to be seen.  We have, as of 29 May 2015, instituted a $25 fee, billed to the client on record.

After going through the effort to make the appointment, our office reminding you about the appointment the day before, and be a "no show" it is disheartening in light of how many other patients that need to be seen by the doctor and have been denied their opportunity. PLEASE have the courtesy to cancel your appointment 24 hours prior or this fee will be incurred.
